BuildTrust Network is a referral platform that connects homeowners with independent contractors for property restoration and home improvement projects. We are not a contractor ourselves and do not perform any work directly.
Contractors in our network are independent businesses, not employees or agents of BuildTrust Network. We verify credentials but do not guarantee work quality. Any contract for services is between the homeowner and the contractor directly.
BuildTrust Network charges contractors a referral fee for leads provided. Homeowners are never charged a fee for using our referral service. Referral fee structures are configured per contractor and are not visible to homeowners.
Contractors must maintain valid licenses, insurance, and certifications as required by law. Contractors agree to respond to referrals promptly, perform quality work, and maintain professional conduct. BuildTrust Network may suspend or remove contractors who fail to meet these standards.
BuildTrust Network is not liable for the acts or omissions of contractors, including work quality, delays, or damages. Our role is limited to referral matching and project coordination. Disputes between homeowners and contractors should be resolved directly or through applicable legal channels.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our platform for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of our services.
